Last year, SHIHO played the drums in YUI’s PV again. This time NOHANA is bassist in YUI’s latest music video, Rain.
I’m a big fan of YUI so I really like these collaborations. I wonder when will AIMI be in YUI’s back-up band in music video. It will really be great if they’ll make an I do it YUI x STEREOPONY music video!

Yes! Yes! Aimi and YUI co-wrote “I do it”, and if YUI’s asking them to be in her videos they should ask her to be in one with them!
I’m not sure on the Aimi playing guitar in one of YUI’s videos; when I saw them in concert at Anime Boston she seemed to just be strumming or playing the chords, I don’t think I ever saw her play single notes the whole time and certainly not any of the guitar solos in some of their songs like “Smilife” or “I do it.” No knocking Ms. Haraguni, she could be a supreme lead guitarist like Mami from SCANDAL for all I know. If anyone has evidence of Aimi’s guitar chops, I’d be happy to be proven wrong, she does write the music for their songs after all and she might record the lead guitar track seperately and mix it in so she only has to worry about doing chord guitar when they perform (there was some guy on stage behind Aimi and to the left of Shiho with a synthezizer when I saw them perform, so I hypothesied that he was adding in the extra guitar) But I am all for more Stereopony and YUI collaberations nonetheless.
